« In the gym I’ve found that it’s all about comparison. It’s not really the other sex you are trying to impress. Girls do their makeup, not for guys, but for other girls and guys build muscles for the sake of other guys. When we always compare ourselves to others we will never be satisfied, because we’re all different. It’s a dangerous path I’ve come to witness. In the end what matters most, to all of us, is being healthy both physically and mentally. We should try to remember that. »

« On paper I’m actually a chef. But for me it lacked human interaction. You don’t talk to your customers when you're in the kitchen. You don’t get to see their reaction to the food you make. You just see the plates you make disappear and come back empty. As a personal trainer I get to interact with my customers directly, I can see their reactions and progression. It’s a good feeling, and that’s what drives me. »

« When I was a kid, my Grandma said to a friend of mine, “I´ll give you 5 kr for every time you get Tobias to go work out. I never did much exercise when I was younger, I was lazy.” “I think it was joining the military that broke my laziness. It wasn’t really much to do besides training. After a while I found that exercising really gives me something and I started setting goals for myself. »
